things I love about PS Vita is that there are no ads while playing your favourite game while on more expensive phone ads are every 10-20 seconds, definitely recommend to get one in 2024

The psp didn’t fail it sold 80 million units and had a 10 year life span and it was released on December 14th 2004 not 2003

Dude it was just due for discontinuation at that point. Its only natural, discontinuing it 11 years later is actually pretty generous compared to other companies. Also they just wanted to naturally their newer, in their opinion better console the VITA. And I damn wish it worked because the vita is amazing.
