Did you know PS2 games had the user manual in color but others were printed in black & white to discount the price?!.. If you had a PlayStation 2 back in the day, then you should have checked all the user manuals in your PlayStation 2 games to see this! Turns out most original "black label" first release PS2 games had the user guides printed in full color but PS2 "greatest hits" games were mostly printed in black & white to save money #shorts

I remember as a kid being driven home from the store after buying a new game and reading the manual in the car, building the anticipation. I miss that.

As a collector, this information is really useful. I prefer colored manuals.

... I started collecting for PS2 recently. I did not grow up with one. (I know, SHOCKING!) So no, I wasnt aware of the information presented in this video. I grew up playing Nintendo and Xbox.

I miss when games came with a phone book for a manual. Used to read those in the car ride from the store to familiarize myself with the game, controls, lore, etc as a kid.
