WHERE IS THE COUNTEROFFENSIVE?!

First video after returning to the US. It's unscripted so bear with me. I wanted to offer a little insight about the highly anticipated Ukrainian counteroffensive, and why I think viewers ought to be patient.

More videos will be coming soon, so stay tuned.

Thanks for all your support.

the full story arc that led Spaghetti Kozak from not knowing what "cope" meant in the Wehraboos video to him using it frequently in this video it's just pure art

Two things. One: Whether someone has won a war or not is based on whether or not they achieved their ultimate strategic objective. Russia's objectives have been, defeat the AFU, replace the Ukrainian government and annex the Donbass-Crimea-Melitopol land bridge. They have only achieved one of those and even then there is a distinct chance of that being reversed within the next twelve months. Ergo, they have failed to achieve their objectives and hence they have lost the war.

Two: Even if they did win at this stage, winning would essentially mean fighting to a draw. The material and personnel losses they've suffered in no way correlate to a successful campaign. The Winter War comparison is a good one, even if they "win"... was it worth winning? No.

The biggest problem with the tankies and Putin fan boys is, that 20 years of RT propaganda, unrealistic war movies and Russia strong memes have made them think of the Russian Army like the Red Army of 1944/45.
Which forged in blood and steel on the anvil of the Wehrmacht and high on Uncle Sam's logistical steroids was a "somewhat " competent fighting force.
The truth is it's closer to the Tsarist Army of 1904/05, the one the Japanese wiped the floor with, a conglomerate of corruption, nepotism, incompetence, alcoholism and abuse.

I'd rather the Ukrainians take their time and do it with minimal loss of life than meet some political deadline.

Someone who thinks Russia could just replace their army with random conscripts should look at what's happening with those conscripts around Bakhmut when they replace Wagner at certain positions. Also no progress at Svatove-Kreminna front despite Russia having a shit ton of troops there

I remember reading that if Russia's "gains" keep going they will win the war in Ukraine in 2050. And that is IF they keep making the gains.

Hot dang. Command and Conquer Generals.
I recently bought the collection last month and the nostalgia from the old days is incredible.

Edit now that I've watched the whole video:
It's good to get an insight on the thoughts of people who are on the ground, and if you are a sounding rod to many of your fellow soldiers and the wider Ukrainian sentiment, it's fantastic that you have the high morale and confidence in your abilities for a positive outcome.
It's all too easy to get caught up in the maps and the figures, and the daily reports, losing focus about the actual human feelings behind it.

From what I've garnered from the sources that I've come to mostly be able to trust through this conflict is that there are 3 possible outcomes to this 'counter offensive'.
1) They make huge gains, routing the Russians back and liberating huge swarthes of territory (probably likely, given that their force is effectively entirely combat destroyed),
2) They get bogged down on the initiation and make very few significant gains (very unlikely and honestly not really worth even considering) or;
3) there's the middle ground between the two.

Ultimately, the 'offensive' should be viewed by the wider world looking in as the opportunity for Ukraine to regain the initiative and momentum from the winter stagnation; due to weather and heavy attritional fighting pre winter. This isn't a war ending operation. But it will hopefully be the begininning of the end of the on ground fighting.

What happens after that is political, and Ukraine's international friends will need to keep supporting them indefinately in that regard. Help them rebuild, grow and prosper not only as a huge sign of appreciation to the Ukrainian people for their huge sacrifice in the face of outstanding odds and heroic defence of themselves and wider Europe, but as a giant middle finger to Russia leadership and their supporters who will likely be gasping for survival.

So many Russian apologists seem to forget that Russia was *already* running out of uniforms, medical supplies and even rifles for their first big mobilization wave last September. They are *already* having artillery shortages now in Bakhmut which is their only major offensive push right now AFAIK. Russia is *already* down to sending T-55s to the frontlines (without any upgrade packages at all according to recent photos). Even if Western support for Ukraine slows to a trickle, that would more likely just turn the war into another frozen conflict, not inevitable result in a Ukrainian collapse.

Especially after all of Ukraine has seen what Russia will do to them and their civilians if they surrender, Ukraine will resist with spears and clubs if they have to. And let's not even get started on how poorly Russia would handle a Ukraine-sized insurgency if they even got to that stage. The invasion was supposed to be the easy part for them and they can't even handle that.

It's kinda funny how Russia is now facing the same issue Ukraine have even dealing with from day one: way more manpower than equipment for them. And it's only gonna get worse as their armored vehicles losses continue to outpace their production capability many times over.

If the Counteroffensive is successfully launched, we shouldn't hear about it until days after from the Ukrainians themselves.

Yes, disguise the bomb truck as another, less-threatening bomb truck. the enemy won't see it coming.
