the only issue with consort radahn is mechanics, nothing is "lazy" about the lore, if you actually read what the whole point is, its meant to reflect how much of a hypocrite miquella is, claiming to want to create a better age yet they caused things like Caelid to happen and ended up getting radahn killed, and nearly caused her own sister to become a full on rot goddess, and then ended up defiling radahn and mohg by creating a clone of them all so that they can ascend to godhood, miquella is painted as the kind yet none of their actions are actually kind, everything they have done they have done it to selfishly become a god, it should give you an idea of what their "rule" is actually like

I get the feeling that if fromsoft just revealed what Malenia said to radahn during their fight earlier, maybe in a base game item description, there wouldn't be as much hate for the final boss.

Death knight is the most effort they put for a catacombs boss, and it works. My favourite "mini boss" in Elden ring

The Frenzy Flame boss is so awesome. I love that really make you earn it as well. No horse in a large area. You have to play stealth sections. I also love that they try to bait and switch us. You walk into the boss arena and it's just a tiny frail man trying to tackle you. Lmao anyway i loved that fight probably my favorite in this DLC. Bayle the Dread is a very close second just because of the NPC that has a quest to go with his boss fight. 10/10 voice acting dude brought all the ham with him to the recording booth and I love it 🤣

Radahn is probably the biggest symptom of the need to always make harder bosses at fromsoftware, having beaten him I felt like half his gameplay was very skill intensive and the other half was just getting a lucky run during the second phase so I could actually damage him at all. My runs with phase 2 were either always reach late phase 3 or die instantly.

It makes sense. Miquella was the only one who can be a god like his mother and Radahn is the only who could fit as Elden lord out of all demigods.

I absolutely love the bosses in the shadow lands. This DLC gave me more Elden Ring with a fresh lick of paint and that’s exactly what I wanted from it and it’s exactly what they delivered upon and the Shadow Lands is such a breath taking place. Glad Fromsoft were able to fully deliver on my expectations and gave me a truly satisfying experience.

Ok, to be honest, I actually dont mind the final boss at all, with the whole Miquella is a parasite who manipulates others for his own benefit storyline, but people in the comments have GOT TO STOP coping and gaslighting others by saying that this was somehow a planned plot twist since the base game. Like yes, they are retroactively now trying to fit it together with new item decriptions, but the truth is there was an entire voiced Miquella game ending (with the same voice actress credited btw) datamined in the base game, and it had ZERO hint of a Radahn relationhsip, and neither did any of the items, locations or lore. So that at least show that in some early stage of the games development, this wasnt part of the story. When and how that changed is debatable, but peple saying BUT ITS MYAZAKI & GRRM PLAN FROM THE START are simply wrong.

Postdata: I'm still wondering why they don't make some bosses able to use the parry.
So in the end, Morgott was right only for all his brothers. (Maybe less in Mogh).
Postscript: Miquella took the Soul of Radahn and put it in the dead body of Mogh, in addition to controlling the latter with her power, so in the end, Morgott and Mogh are the VICTIMS of that entire family.
As Morgott said: Traitors engulfed in the flames of ambition.

Blackgaol knight is just Bowman Guthry on steroids. In fact majority of ER’s bosses are a previous souls boss on steroids.
