Actually simple after the DLC.

The intro is Marika turning into a God at the Gate of Divinity.

Marika betrayed the Hornsent, a somewhat righteous betrayal since they tortured Marika’s people, Numen Shaman.

Mesmer is a Demigod whom Marika send to deal the punishment for what happened to the shamans.

Miquella abandons literally everything, from Flesh to Feelings, and among them, Saint Trina, the Radagon of Marika equivalent for Miquella.

The trailer ends with Miquella’s Round table. Warriors from all over, be it Radahn soldiers, Mogh’s and even the a Hornsent.

The funny part is that the last line is almost a lie. They “chose to follow” because of the charm. After it is destroyed by Miquella destroying himself to be a God, some members question their allegiance to Miquella.

If anything cements how huge this DLC is going to be compared to any previous game; From’s never made an entirely new CGI animated cutscene for one of their DLCs before. This is basically like a second opening cutscene for the game. Wild.
