If you bounce your stems for mixing and mastered would it be in mono or stereo when sending for sync

Do I need to keep my stems at the same volume in relation to each other? Or do I bounce each stem to the same volume?

Should I be mixing a copy of all my edits in surround? With surround sound, is it ever ok to only provide stereo?

That track sounds awesome, but this all seems way to complicated. You can no longer be a great musician, you have to be engineer, tech savvy and a rocket scientist.
