I used to buy rice a roni all the time. Now we have a rice cooker and just buy bulk rice. That doesnt stop me from saving things though. My hubby even text me pictures from the road asking if I want things before he throws them away.

I am so glad I saw this, we eat lots of Rice A Roni as the base for stir fry and I've wasting the boxes...they had it on sale this week Buy one get one free and I'll make sure I keep the boxes.:}

Holy Moly this journal is amazing. Has to be one of my favs. with Tink on the cover. I'm sure your friend will love & treasure it! It's so cool how you get the fabric adhered to the paper. Seems like a lot of work & love goes into these journals with dying the papers and all but the result is just stunning!! Your mom rocks too with the quick thinking about the spilled coffee. You make me laugh buying dinners for the family just for the boxes lol I think we all do that at times, my kids love that I buy so much cereal for them, they think hey mums great, mums thinking JJ covers !! Lol, isn't your mum a genius to think of the papers instead of the tea towel !
