Hiya! I made a selection of digital images in A5 size for this journal. That's 148 x 210 mm or 5.8 x 8.3 in. It means I can get two of my pages on a sheet of printer paper, so doesn't use a ton of paper. I'm thinking of selling the digital images as a kit but although that size suits me, others may prefer it bigger. Please watch and let me know what size of paper you use more often. I don't think this can be adapted to TN size.

This journal will be for sale in my Etsy shop, BygonesCards,

Oh the butterfly papers are lovely! Love the contrast between the colorful butterflies and the grey background botanicals! In terms of size, my favorite digital pages are about 8 1/4 by 10 1/2 inches. If they are jpg files, I can resize them smaller if I want to. I've also used that size to make TN size journals by just folding over one side for a tuck or flip out. So, there you go, my two cents worth! I'll be stalking your shop awaiting the release!!! Well done, my sweet friend!! 😘😘😘❤️

Hi Moira, Love the cover... The papers you are creating are just beautiful. I love the butterflies on top of the music... I always like music as a background for pages... Oh... And the bagpipe music.... Love it. Hugs, Michelefrapjunky

I think it's awesome you said "You can tell they're Scottish, eh?" when the 'eh' at the end of a sentence is said to be so Canadian (Yup, I'm Canadian and say it too much lol). I think your journal is awesome, Moira, so pretty and yes, please do sell your digitals! I love working with 5x7 but I can adjust the size when I print so whatever is easiest works for me. The digitals you used here are so beautiful. Debbie :)

Moira, OMG I adore your papers. I LOVE ❤️ butterflies! Thanks for the wee mention! I think you may have underestimated the force used for a 'skelp' '-don't remember getting a good ''dot' when I was wee but maybe that's just an Ayrshire thing 😂. I reckon we're going to hear about this technique more often now 😂. I like the technique you use with your oven rack to get the lines on your paper. I don't think I could get away with putting my paper directly on the rack as it would stick to the grease 😂

Another gorgeous journal!!! I use all kinds of sizes, and I resize as needed for whatever project I'm doing. I do like the 8x10 size a lot though, it seems I use that size most. Keep up the excellent, beautiful work!

Love your digital images. Butterflies & flowers would make a fab kit. A5 is the perfect size for me. I also love the stamps you incorporate in your pages. Tfs

A5 is a good size! Lots of people use it for travelers notebook-type journals. I like your smaller, purse-sized version too. Would it be a pain to sell it in both sizes? I will keep an eye on your shop, because this would be a lovely kit.

I love your digitals!  I like the 8 x 10 size.  I'm not very good with printers but I have purchased a couple of digitals, my problem is being able to print out digitals because of the price of ink.  If I love a digital so much I'll get it and have someone help me with the printing.  Being an old broad I have trouble with these new fangled gadgets.  Do what works for you.  Thanks for sharing.  D.

Beautiful Journal & I Love your digi pages. I would buy. When I go to buy a digi Journal Kit what I look for is how many journal pages it has. And if it has a couple envelopes, tags, journaling cards etc. Some have too much ephemera. Then it's all about the price. You, as a designer, should keep in mind there is allot of competition and what their prices are. The ones with the more reasonably priced kits do much better. You actually will make more money on volume with a lower price vs selling a few at a higher price. Like Tsunami Rose, her prices are very reasonable & she sells tons of her kits. I have seen several kits I would like to buy but if the designer has a high price attached I usually pass it up. Where as I have purchased allot of kits that are $5 & under. Just a couple of thoughts for you to consider.

Beautiful book Moira, the bagpipe music paper was a lovely addition, need to get my finger out and learn about printing cause I really want your digital papers❤️ Now I am very intrigued by using the 'skelping' technique to tea stain paper as I have always associated skelping with my mothers hand, a good skelping was necessary to keep you on the straight and narrow and" not have you behaving like that wee midden Jenny do on the street" cause apparently she could do with a good skelping! 😂😂😂😂 looking back I now appreciate the value of a good skelp🤔

standard letter paper in the USA is 8.5x11. I like the idea of 8 1/4 x 10 1/2

I would buy the papers, happy with any size you could provide, as they can be used in a range of ways. Journal size 8 x5 is good, bot smaller would be fine 😊
