I made a mistake when explaining the float level adjustment. Turning the adjustment nut clockwise lowers the level, counter clockwise raises the level.

3:41 correction, quite the opposite, after loosening the jam screw, turn the nut clockwise to lower the float level, counter clockwise to raise the float level.

Those FST carbs are AWESOME! I have one on my 500 horse LS and it's flawless

So much more involved than just sitting idle mixture.

I'm 'old school', too...I'd add a 2nd throttle return spring, if I were you.

Great video! What are you using for fuel delivery pump wise and do you have a sump in a stock tank or fuel cell? I have Carter mechanical pump and a stock tank with 3/8 sending unit and lines. We're at similar power levels and I'd like to change now if needed. I'd appreciate any advice thanks.

Great video, I was wondering if you can give me some advice? The transfer slots on my carb are open too far, but when I try to shut them the car won’t idle. Also my idle mixture screws don’t really do anything because of this. How do I get my rpm up? If not with idle screw? I thought about advancing the timing a little bit, but wanted to check with someone first. Any advice would be awesome. Thank you.
