I have an idea i wish they make it (its like an electrical boiler but with a tank cover and a steam wand and 3 switches on for boiling the water off for stopping the heat and steam for steaming) it works perfect cuz i had it when I had an old very cheap espresso machine and the portafilter got stuck so the opening for the espresso doesn’t exist pressure only comes out from the wand and I steam milk like i have an expensive espresso machine unfortunately the switch got broken and I didn’t find the same or a similar machine cuz they’re old

Any idea what the pressure is? And how does the amount of steam (and the ability to properly steam milk) compare to a HX machine?

Can the Bellman be used to steam chai & apple juice. I know it sounds crazy but there is a local coffee shop where I live that uses liquid chai and apple juice and then steams it. It is delicious.

Do you simply leave it off the heat when you're done?

I've read some of your answers to the comments that steam is good for 1-2 hours once up to temp but I intend to make just one cup of coffee for myself before leaving for work, so is it safe to leave off the heat when im done or should I open the steam wand to release pressure..?

I don’t know what i’m doing wrong. I make sure to do a long purge and then build pressure back up again before starting to steam my milk, and I cool the spout off beforehand as well. I CANNOT seem to get a good microfoam or anything near good enough for latte art. Even without pulling the milk at all, I just end up with a mountain of big bubbly foam on top of steamed milk. Super disappointing as I was hoping this could help me practice my latte art skills since i’m working as a barista atm.

Hi, Josh! Out of curiosity, what did you use to prepare your espresso for this video? I've just got a Bellman today and have been experimenting with Aeropress and a Prismo pressurized filter. Congratulations on your business. I recommend Wolff College of Coffee all the time to my barista trainees.

This is a great tutorial vid for the steamer. Thanks Josh.
I'm planning on getting one of this steamers at home but i have a few questions that i need help with:
1) using 8oz as a guide, about how many pitchers of milk will i be able to steam in one go with the water level you recommended?
2) I saw many videos keeping it on the stove while steaming, but i realised you took it out. Is there a significant difference?
