These are fantastic units. We have one in our camper trailer and use it on the gas stove. You can buy a tamp designed to fit over the hole so you don't have to use the level to tamp with.

We found one in a cafe we bought! What a fun discovery! Thanks for the video to understand how it works.

Bellman has this without the moka function, to be used purely as a milk steamer along with your lever espresso machine. But I love this one, same size, plus all-in-one moka/steamer you can bring on your trips. Very nice engineering.

Hi Luke!! This was so helpful! Wish we’d known About your You Tube video . We purchased a bellman CX-25P.. the instruction booklet does not explain that well. Your explanation was very clear.
Unfortunately despite 8 tries with percolator grind and expresso grind we have not even got a drop of brew.. can only surmise that the top lid with coffee valve set is blocked/ malfunctioning.
We have tried with plain water as well and have had no success!! Any suggestions ?

Won't the first cup extraction tastes different from the second cup?

Wow great demo there! I plan to just get the steamer one since I already have a Moka and an espresso machine.

I use a lapavoni lever machine, but this looks great as a backup

You could just find a small rubber plug with a bit of a shoulder on one end to put partly inside that centre tube when placing the ground coffee inside the holder. That would allow easier distribution of the ground coffee into the whole holder rather than getting coffee all over your fingers.

One thing I find to be a sticking point, paper filters, is there a stainless mesh alternative?

did you burn your bench top putting it straight from the gas burner to the bench?

Hi, thank you for the video and time to explain how the coffee machine works. But I have a question in regards the proportion between water and coffee to make a expresso. How much water should I use to make a small basket 15g and medium 30g??

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Great informative and simple video. I have a Breville BES850 Barista Express at home that I absolutely love. I find it consistant and very easy to tweak and adjust to beans/ grind etc .... I need something for caravaning and at times without 240v (although I have a 3000W inverter to do the job temporarily - would rather not have to use this). Will I be able to replicate EXACTLY what I'm able to get at home (Almond Flat White - double shot) with the beans that I could either buy or pre grind at home? I have never used plunger coffee etc and are not interested in going that way either!

Just got this unit and am getting used to it. How do I stop the coffee sputtering? Lower pressure on n the gage?

Does it create the 9 bars or more of pressure?

Is this really espresso if it's not made with pressurized water?

So what’s the coffee actually taste like? Comparable result to a fully fledged cafe machine?
