I'm in South eastern Australia and here the non spotted ones with the red fins are the cheapest. I got some today at $12 each for juveniles. The spotted ones were $20 each and so were the striped. I got two to start with but one isn't doing too well... the other one was just sitting by its side looking sad so I went out and got another few. They are much happier with more in the school.

You have much info in your videos.. When I set up my 540g tank I was on the fence over staying with Mbuna or going South/Central Cichlids. I have decided to switch soon so learning as much as possible about tankmates. Severum with Red Hooks and Geophagus community option 1 or Red Devil, GT, Convict, Oscar, Dempsey, Firemouth, Salvini is option 2 or ? option 3

I thought the silver dollar without any spots at all was the most common

Hi. I'm doing a plywood aquarium build and I'm going to be moving my seven silver dollars from my current 120 gallon. The new tank will be about 260 gallon (6'x2.5x2.5). I'll have a school of 6-7 clown loach with them. Would you say its best if I add maybe another 2-3 or is seven a good number for a school? Thanks again and great channel.

Will different types of silver dollars school together?

Silver dollars are herbivores may I ask what your feeding them in that tank. I've been wanting to get 5 stripe that I see in my LFS and they're the size of a half dollar right now.
