Oh for my fellow writers, here’s a trick I heard about if you have trouble getting in the zone to write: always keep at least one thing consistent. Like, always have shoes on when your going to write. Always sit in this one specific spot. Always wear a certain shirt. Always eat something very specific during or beforehand. Theoretically, after enough time, you’ll trick your brain every time you do these things into thinking “oh, it’s writing time!”
