I kind of like how everyone complains that this is a synopsis, not a trailer. It's like every Hallmark movie, people. We knew the plot anyway. People who like that will also have liked the trailer.

WE ALL KNOW HOW THIS GOES! She goes home, the exes (or other past love relationship) formerly interested fall for each other, then someone is lying or someone does something making them upset or betrayed, etc. then a moment of 'realization' and then BOOM

The template for these movies is: Heroine has high-profile job, for some reason has to briefly return home, there she finds the old family is in need of saving, she reconnects with ex/old crush/old enemy, they must work together, fall for each other but don't admit it, heroine makes a job-related choice that hurts the guy, they fight, she has a moment of realization while leaving, decides to stay, they kiss. xD

Can't she just accept the job opportunity while he will act like a supportive partner and joins her to the city? Seems like a better plot, and here I gave you mister writer the background for a second movie. If it was the other way around then that would usually work that way or the guy would have found a way to keep both of his career and love in his basket. Here the woman always has to sacrifice something and make a choice. What's so great about this type of love if your partner can't support your growth.
