In today's video we show you how to import a custom character inside of Mixamo then use the auto rigger to rig the character and animate it using one of our packs ready for download.

We also go over the associated settings for our animations to give them a bit more control.

By the end of this video you'll have a complete animation pack ready to import into a game engine.

Thanks for the great tutorial. For a character like that, which may have different textures for various parts of the character, any pointers on how to reattach multiple textures once the character is exported from mixamo into Unreal?

I have a future project that would require rigging several models from star fox games. I'm excited to try this out :D

when you were creating that character, before importing it what requirements should it have? could it be just a deformed cube? or does it need other info?

Hey Virtus legit question here :) (but for the third person RPG tutorial, just want to grab attention here ;) and for anyone who finds this question helpful PLEASE upvote so its easier to see ^^)

When it comes to making an RPG game what comes first in the pipeline, character customization feature and title screens etc. or the gameplay stuff ???(sorry if its confusing, not familiar with the jargon)
I feel like the gameplay stuff comes first and that's pretty much common sense (i guess????) but I can't really wrap my head around the idea of how it works

PS: your videos are great keep up the amazing work, you're helping me reach my dreams :D

There was one model I downloaded that kept the textures when I imported to Mixamo, so there is a way. Please make a video showing how to set up a character to fully import.

Help! Can't get my character to upload....Something about it being unable to map existing Skeleton.

When you upload the model, does it have joints on it or no? Mine has a basic skeleton with no hands or feet, and I get the message "We are unable to map your existing skeleton"

Mixamo changed the site layout a little bit, and now when you download your character/animations you don't get the texutes. Any help?

Any ideas what to do when you add a character and click an animation and it just says "loading" forever?
