Download a software package called Onyx by going to

Click on the download now link.

Once you've downloaded and installed onyx open the program. Select the cleaning tab. This will allow you to clean out any old caches, preferences, logs, etc that just take up room for all sort of programs.

Go through each tab and seelct the caches you'd like to delete.

Then press execute.

Then move to the next tab and repeat the process. Once you've gone through all the tabs Onyx will have deleted all the junk files off of your computer.
