Vice President Kamala Harris and her new running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are campaigning in Wisconsin and Michigan — key states on the path to the presidency.

Kamala Harris’ campaign is highlighting its organization in the so-called “Blue Wall” states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan that will be key to its electoral map in November, pointing to Harris’ new running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, as an asset in rural areas of these states.

As Harris and Walz continue their battleground blitz in Wisconsin on Wednesday, the campaign pointed to its growing infrastructure, including more than 600 coordinated staff across those three critical states, with another 150 staffers joining in the coming weeks, Harris-Walz battleground states director Dan Kanninen said in a memo Wednesday.

A CNN Poll of Polls average of national polling finds a close general election race with no clear leader between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

Trump currently holds 49% support in the average of five recent polls testing the matchup, while Harris holds 48%.

The latest Poll of Polls includes an NPR/PBS News/Marist poll released Tuesday that also finds no clear leader in a head-to-head matchup between the candidates, with Harris taking 51% and Trump taking 48% among registered voters nationally.

2⃣ In 2003, then-First Sergeant Walz (E-8) signed a Statement of Agreement and Certification to attend the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, where he agreed to serve for a *minimum* of two years after promotion to Command Sergeant Major.
3⃣ On September 17, 2004, then-First Sergeant Walz was frocked to Command Master Sergeant (E-9) of the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery regiment. By doing so, he was obligated to serve as a Command Sergeant Major until September 17, 2006, and he still maintained his rank

5⃣ On May 16, 2005, 7 months after assuming his position as the Command Sergeant Major of 1/125 and 2 months after being notified he was going to deploy to Iraq, Walz QUIT by dropping his retirement papers. This was a FULL 18 months before the end of his Sergeant Major academy
6⃣ He falsely filed paperwork with the Minnesota National Guard to retire as an E-9, a Command Sergeant Major, knowing full well he did not meet the obligations to retire as an E-9.
7⃣ On September 10, 2005, the Minnesota National Guard discovered that he didn’t fulfill his commitment and busted down his retirement rank from an E-9 to an E-8. His official retirement grade and rank is E-8: a Master Sergeant
8⃣ Walz cannot claim the title of Command Master Sergeant. He was only frocked as an E-9 and never completed the requirements to be officially promoted to the rank of E-9. Walz is lying and cannot claim the title of command master sergeant, as he never met the criteria.
9⃣ Walz referred to himself as a retired Command Sergeant Major in his run for Congress and Governor. This is a lie and stolen valor.
