Henry V is a serious contender for the most impressive man ever to rule England. On his death, a chronicler wrote: "He did not leave his like upon earth among Christian kings or princes." His only fault was to die young… well, that, and being so horrifically ruthless and cold, that another historian wrote of Henry that he was "conclusive proof that a man may be a hero and yet a monster."

Great video, but yall missed the two most important parts in the battle of Agincourt. First, Henry wasn't on horseback, far from it. He was actually in the center of the line, on foot, with a crown welded to his helmet so that everyone could see him (and likely target the strongest point in the center of the English line). Second, during the battle, the Duke of Gloucester, the king's own brother, was severely wounded by French knights and was being taken off the field by them. In the most heroic act of the battle, the king, who had been saved by a royal body guard, charged out and stood on the body of his brother, killing the knights and making it clear that no royal of England was going to be taken hostage.

Great video, but again, these two points are really what made the battle legendary!

Part of this strike was also a few archers hidden in two forests near the French positions. They didn’t do much physical damage, but they did shout out calls like they were hunting hogs.

This offended the French noble knights who did not want to be seen as mere hogs…

…so they charged into the mud of Agincourt and got farmed like hogs.

That's... not why he killed the prisoners.
There were reports of another force approaching from behind and he ordered the prisoners killed because he feared they take the opportunity to rejoin the fight. He rescinded the order as soon as he learned that the other force wasn't hostile (I think it was one of his own captains returning from something).
