I love the WotL version with the new features such as the new cutscenes and script. The only reason I'd rank it below the psx version is cause of how troublesome it is to access the extra multi-player content in it now.

All the reasons you said about FFTA2 is the reason I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Its vast, its slice of life, its an adventure! When you achieve something, it actually feels great because you know youve worked hard on it. I relate to Luto. Hes just a normie like us gamers. Thats why he is more relatable. Not to mention....I lowkey think the animation is the best of them all. Like how Pokemon Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald had the best animation too. Its giving a happy adventure life. Just like those manga isekai Ive used to read. Isekai today seems so ridiculous, doing too much.

Love the content thank you for putting it out there! Just recently got into playing the PSX version with mods would you recommend sny story change type mods with different sprites/abilities outside of reach the future and souls of destiny ones?

My personal theory for FFTA2 being lackluster on the main story, is that Luso is meant to be a Self insert character, despite his absurd appearance, which as I’ve stated before, I love the absurdity in his look

JSeven, they do not make games too efficient since they would lose money doing that. I find that older games could be improved with modern technology. As a purist I like to leave them how they are. We can create one system that can host anything we program. It's not hard to design a game from the ground up. It needs a shit ton of options to have replay value. All tactical RPGs got too easy for me. Even chess does not give me a huge challenge. Though I bet not as many people play as often as we do. I can make a near-perfect game myself. It would be similar to FFTs yet with more options.

I remember Square blatant lying saying that the PSP version has no slowdowns and it was the same as the PSX version lol, I couldn't stand it, as the battles already are very long, every time a chocobo used choco-cure it took AGES!!!
I own the cellphone version but they had to add an visual controller instead of tap command, the game UI isn't big enough for that.

Just a little suggestion, since you already made a tier list of the jobs, but why not a tier list of the best sub to worst classes now?
