Kuru Chicane Trail Hiking Shoe Review

This well supported and extremely comfortable shoe is quite amazing. I don't know if I have ever had a shoe make me question how shoes are made and why this one feels so different. The heel cushion is awesome, and the arch support is very good. If you are in the market for a new pair of shoes, I would definitely give Kuru a look! The insoles are incredibly comfortable! They totally nailed that part. I have a wide foot and they weren't wide enough for a hiking shoe. There isn't enough of a toe box, and the exterior sole on the bottom of the shoe is inadequate. No lugs! Maybe great for "hiking" in a mall, but I wouldn't wear these on trail.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I found them weird fitting from the start as the video states. I tried breaking them in at home wearing them while working from home. Then I wore them walking the dog for 40 minutes. when I got home my feet hurt and my heel blistered. I blamed the socks and after my heel healed a month later I tried them again different socks same story. I bought these in April and once a month I try them hoping for a different result it is now almost November and I refer to them as my torture shoes. I hope your luck is better than mine.

I wish they would’ve just made the lace up normal. This sets off my OCD like you wouldn’t believe.
