I have daily heel and big toe joint pain. Across the top of my feet behind my toes gets a sharp stabbing pain a good bit. When i had a pair of BROOKES i rarely had pain. Looking for a shoe with similar cushioning but needs to be able to handle hard hikes and physical labor.

How would you compare this to more mainstream shoes like Adidas Ultraboost and New Balance 990v6? Is it as cushioned? What makes it better? I'm aware of the heel pad feature. But is it better than mainstream shoes for casual wear?

Do you mind telling me how durable they are? Weird question to ask but with my job it kind of kills shoes entirely and with how expensive these are, I don't know if I can afford to be replacing them every few years

So, wide shoe + wide toe box + insoles for all day wear. A person who works in healthcare and has toenail problems and plantair fascitis. Would this be the shoe for me?
