Culturedog Sam Hatch has shown these discs off twice in prior music video overviews. But with the news of Neil Peart’s passing hitting hard this past week, he figured it would be a positive thing to revisit these video gems in depth and reminisce about initially purchasing them and their subsequent impact on his Rush-addicted mind.

Great video Sam! It was a sad day here in Canada for sure and worldwide no doubt! Neil was one of my favorite drummers, what a beast he was on the kit, an amazing lyricist too! He will definitely be missed by many! Cheers man!

Hey! I wanted to know if you knew how to use Closed Captioned on a laserdisc player. I've tried to figure it out but all the remotes that I've seen don't have an option for it on the remotes. Am I missing something?

Off topic blu ray news: Pet Sematary 2 is getting a new 4K transfer and interviews with Clancy Brown and Eddie Furlong. Still doesn't have the workprint.... damnit! My Bloody valentine is getting 4K scans of both versions and they fully restored the uncut kills, so now it matches the rest of the film and doesn't look like shit anymore lol. Both are Scream Factory, also The Dark Half, Pumpkinhead 2 and Monkey Shines(and others) are going OOP this year.
