This is probably the most fascinating take on how a Wendigo is formed. Sort of like a Zombie virus, it's pretty cool. Though Fear Itself (mid 2000's TV show that used Serj Tankian's song 'Lie Lie Lie' as it's theme song) has a pretty good take on it too.
