HIDDEN - cinematic short film

An experimental Short Film - 'HIDDEN' - made in 2022 by crafting pictures!

"It has been found. Below stone, wood and sea it is hidden right before our eyes."

This was our very first try using the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro and the Zhiyun Crane 3S.
We planned and shot the film in 2 days. Editing, music composing, vfx and grading took approximately 2-3 months to complete.

I do have a feeling that this was sort of inspired by the 2021 Dune, I mean..each scene gives off something different but yet connected..no dialogue nor a monologue but still a story was told, through senses of suspense, curiosity and a spectacle..absolutely love this..

Not gonna lie, them shots were perfection. I particularly liked the opening sequence framing, and the other shot at 03:15. That was the best.

I had been waiting for the text message from the Professor for what felt like forever. We were supposed to meet up and explore the hidden obelisk together, but he was running late. I started to worry as the storm clouds began to gather in the sky.

Just as I was about to give up and leave, I got a text message with coordinates. "Below stone, wood, and sea, " it read. I knew right away what it meant. The quarry was only a few blocks away, and my satchel with the key glowed blue as I got closer to the water's edge.

As soon as I put the key in the obelisk, it sprang to life - revealing itself from under the water where it had been hidden all this time. It was an amazing sight!

i just started watching this and what I’m loving the most is that every short film I see filmed on the blackmagic is uploaded to YouTube in its true widescreen format meaning anyone who flips their iPhone 11s and up to the side the entire screen is filled I love it anyways back to the movie will edit when I’m done edit just watched the entire short loved it from start to finish I shoot with a 6K Pro myself and am currently producing a short film that we are filming entirely with the 6K pro y’all should definitely continue it the ending was very satisfying and had me wondering what next could happen cinematography was on point editing was on point color was on point I’ll give the acting a solid 8 but overall this is a well made short film production keep ‘em coming subscribed to your channel 🫡
