I swear, these short films capture the essence of horror without all the other stuff that seems to get in the way. I enjoy short horror SO MUCH more than regular length movies

He broke the golden rule. Never go hiking on your own because when circumstances go bad, there isn't anyone to help you.

in an alternate universe there are pale hooded folk watching a horror film about being stalked in the woods by a chubby dude wearing a yellow hat.

Whether or not intentionally, this seems to parallel an ancient human fear. To be separated from others and then confronted with something far more dangerous that's suddenly preying on you. I like it!

Hiker: "Excuse me sir, I'm lost and injured"
Demon: *Jackpot!*

After seeing the monster's smiley face. I just imagine it poking the hiker on the shoulder and going "tag you're it" and running off giggling. Like that monster was just a happy boi.

*Demon showing its mastery of the art of hiding behind trees*

This dood: *hides behind tree*

That camera work is amazing, it really sets the scene and makes you feel uneasy. This is incredible horror, keep up the good work man

the way you made each space between the trees almost hazy as if they're their own portals to different worlds that the creature was using to get around is so cool

that was executed perfectly, taking together all the forest fear and hidebehind goings-around and turning into something perfect, amazingly timed, the pacing was excellent, it genuinely had me gasping in horror, this has to be my favorite film you all have done, great work

Dude you are alone lost in the woods and come across an unholy demon creature thing fully knowing you are unable to run and your first instinct is to yell at it

That's one of the creepiest things I've seen in awhile. The way that thing moved when it ran, and being lost in a forest, even in the daytime. Really good film, way better than some hour or longer Hollywood crap fest.

That slow camera turn from him to it the first time really built the tension in the atmosphere

Well written, great cinematography, awesome casting and amazing effects.
The creature was stunningly created.
More like this please.

The creature from the back looks really unsettling and I noticed in a side shot that it's two people right? It's amazing how something so simple can give such an effect in a horror short, loved it

Be careful when you yell in the forest, you might not like what yells back or what might be listening.

The movement of that thing is very "smooth", almost floating. The sound also very good.

the actors facial expressions and body language is award winning. He seemed terrified after the creature grabbed him. Great concept. The story is very inspiring.

This is so unconventional and I love it. Literally none of the techniques used here are in any horror movies. It creates a sense of oddity and strangeness, like you have no idea what the hell is going on.

Perfectly paced tale of terror. Stripped to the bone utterly flawless. The jump-scare with the arm behind the tree actually got me, and that's rare.
I'm so glad you got your well-deserved feature film!
