Missing Teen Jay Slater: 'His Mum Thinks It's A KIDNAPPING' | Investigation Underway In Tenerife

Talk’s Ian Collins is joined by international presenter Maddie Hale to discuss the investigation surrounding British teenager Jay Slater.

The 19-year-old went missing during a holiday in Tenerife and police have now focused efforts on a ravine near to where he was last heard from.

Search and rescue personnel carefully combed through dead palm trees covering a river at the bottom of the hillside near to a property he had reportedly been driven to.

Mr Slater, from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, disappeared following an attempt to walk back to his accommodation after missing a bus.

He had attended the NRG music festival on the island with two friends before his disappearance.

There’s a difference between being ‘street smart’ when you’re a bit of a scally in your own home town and then being shrewd when you’re in a foreign country and been off your Barnet for two or three days at a festival. In reality he probably lacks a lot of common sense. Attempting to walk 11 hours and in the wrong direction with no water etc proves this.

Someone told me this morning, he had some drugs, took half of them and “lost” the other half. The men who he owed the money for these drugs are Moroccan. Lucy told his mum and his mum said don’t call the police. Whatever has happened, it’s safe to say, it’s much bigger than the msm is letting on.

Watching the post of the mum talking about the possibility that he might have been kidnapped, there’s just something that dosent sit right. Her whole demeanour just isn’t right can’t put my finger on it, nothing makes sense.

Ironically, if he was serving jail time which he should have got for violently attacking another young man as part of a vicious gang with a machete, golf club and axe and then laughed and joked during court proceedings, he would still be alive and well right now. The media reporting that this missing person was wonderful and refusing to report the truth about his past, are lying to the public once again. He was no angel and no pillar of society.

Was very worried for this lad at first until I read about his character. I wouldn't wish anyone to come to harm but am really suspicious of all of this now. I am also suspicious of his Mum - no tears appear in her eyes at all and she almost laughs when trying to show emotion. I would love to know what the body language experts are making of it. The go fund me is equally suspicious. Quite an intriguing story though !! Brings back memories of Karen Matthews !!
