'I just want my boy back,' says dad of missing teenager Jay Slater

The father of teenager Jay Slater has told Sky News "I just want my boy back" as he tells of the nightmare his family has gone through since his son went missing in Tenerife six days ago.

Warren Slater said he hoped someone had managed to help his son off the mountain.

Rescue teams are continuing to search a mountainous route in Tenerife which he is believed to have taken.

The amount of resources, and media attention, poured into finding an attempted murderer but not into tackling homelessness, knife crime, childhood poverty, other missing people is outrageous.
