Jay Slater: Rescue workers searching for missing teen find human remains - reports

Police say human remains have been found in the area where British teenager Jay Slater went missing in Tenerife.

First investigations reveal he could have suffered an accident or fall in the area where he was found.

It’s strange how the body wasn’t found sooner, as it was in the area where his phone pinged..and that area was being searched over and over..I think there is foul play somewhere and his body has been placed there all of a sudden..it just seems odd to me

I think it’s time to stop with these nasty comments, a 19 year old has lost his life, of course it’s Jay, there is a mum, dad, brother, grandmother etc that have lost their family member. It doesn’t matter what Jay did in his past, I’m sure there is not many people who can honestly say they have never done anything wrong. Let them grieve and let Jay R.I.P. BE RESPECTFUL

The Civil Guard continued to search after claiming to withdraw. They have an excellent record, but wanted to stop all the TicTocers and others who were flying out to search. There was a lot of anger in Spain caused by the family and friends criticising the Spanish police and Civil Guard.

I’m surprised he wasn’t found earlier with all searches and drones etc.!!!

So a 19 year old decides to go to an air b&b only for 3 hours in the hills with men he's only known for a few days. He didnt sleep. The men apparently did. Then he leaves, doesnt want to wait for the bus, starts walking phones 2 friends with the last saying he was thirsty and had cut his leg with 1% battery.
My question is why would he go to that air b&b for such a short amount of time. Why did he only have 1% when the guy at the air b&b said he asked for a charger? Wasnt it reported that his phone had been found on a beach? Why didnt he go back to the road and flag down someone theres so many questions with this.
If it is him I think there will always be questions over did he fall or was foul play involved 🤷‍♀️

All the people who made out that him and his family were just trying to con people out of money should ne ashamed of themselves, i feel so sorry for his family and friends for all the abuse they went through and im sorry for their loss, sich a sad end .RIP Jay .

Lord, I pray for our youth to be safe when traveling, do not let this ever happen again. Our youth has more tools than before to stay safe. I pray keep our young one safe.
