I adore reach really. It shows how capable the covenant actually is. They dispatch elite teams(haha elite) to systematically hunt down noble. They kinda figured out that throwing shitton of grunts at them doesnt really work out. So they solved the problem the same way noble operates. Small groups of highly skilled individuals trained to take down spartans

I feel this perfectly embodies the fall of Reach as a whole. It was a battle that was lost by what seemed like correct decisions in the moment, but ultimately were choices that didn't take the bigger picture into account.
