when changing to some custom resolutions it doesnt work and it applies the old resolutipn. can you help?

I am not able to select a scaling mode for some reason it is just stuck on aspect ratio and I can't change it.

hey i’m pretty sure i have the same asus tuf gaming laptop as you, when i open nvidia control panel i don’t see any of the categories except, 3D settings . How Did you Prioritize using mainly yhr nvidia graphics card ?
