damn. my grandfather was a painter for over 30 years and was never this efficient. tho he never had an employee (cept for me on occasion near the end) and did it all on his own, still your system is quicker. very impressed. a true craftsman to the trade

Thank you for your advice and suggestions. I'm getting ready to paint our guest room and needed a bit of advice on cutting in trim. Thanks for taking your time to make these videos to help all of us who are non-professionals!

Thanks Chris! I asked because I was using 3/8 Purdy White Dove for some time now and seem to be fine but had several painters in my area tell me 3/8 was too small for orange peel texture they said 3/8 doesn't hold enough paint and your always going back in the pan to reload. They also said that the 3/8 nap will not push the paint into the texture I mentioned you use them all the time they said it might be because your rolling walls that are smooth or have very little texture so kind of got me to thinking so I wanted to check with you on textured walls nap. Thanks for all your help have a blessed Sunday.

I hour after removing furniture, laying floor cloth, masking, and mixing paint! Preparation is the bit that takes the longest.

do you need to cut in twice, or is one coat enough because it's done with a brush?

I always hated covering red it's a pain to cover especially the bright reds. That's a nice color your using one thing I love about Sherwin Williams paint is it covers great. I used flex bond paint for years until they merged but still use Sherwin Williams. Great job guys!

You mentioned using a 9 inch nap roller, but what width of nap did you use for this job? Do you have a favorite brand of rollers and/or brushes? Thx.

Thanks for sharing this great video. The drop cloth was amazingly clean LOL I saw someone else commented that the color was awful, but I think it is SO MUCH better than what was there before!

Hi Idaho Painter, I am the owner of a small painting business and was wondering what you put in your "touch up box." I think that's a great idea and has a polished feel to it. Always looking to expand, thanks!

Chris I have an old house and need t paint. The walls are from 1957 and are cracking. It looks like just the paint. Also how d you paint a coved ceiling a different color than the walls. I'm thinking about painting everything white just so I don't have to worry about that though. Thankÿou for you awesome videos. I just found you and I am enjoying you.
