I hired a professional independent painter in preparation to sell my parents home. I got to know him as a friend and truly admired his work and craftsmanship. Your video allows the audience to appreciate some of those trademarks. It does take time and pride to achieve your level, as you and your son illustrate.
Well done.

White on white jobs always gave me the "staredown" migraines from inspecting work in differing light situations in each room. I don't miss those jobs...nice work gentlemen.

I’m a trainer by trade. I appreciate your cadence, delivery, and attention to detail. You are not just excellent at painting but also training. Thank you, Sir.

I learned to paint from a guy that had 40+ years experience. Taught me a lot of these tricks. He always told me that you can paint for 20 years and if you don't learn how to do it right you'll never be a painter.

I am always baffled by how a simple coat of paint just completely transform the place. Great job guys!

A tip about the spray can texture is when done and you still have some left in the can, tip it upside down and spray. It cleans the texture out so you can use it later, if you don’t clean it the texture drys and the remaining can will be useless. ✌️👍 Great work men. Reminds me when I broke my son in 👍 as they learn they start moving quicker and before you know it old dad becomes the helper lol 🤣🤣.

Your paint roller cleaning tips are brilliant, and I didn’t realise that a double arm roller frame even existed.
It’s also great to see a father and son team working so well together.

One of my favorite parts of Stud Pack is your willingness to tackle any project and being 100% honest and real. You might be professionals, but your videos are so helpful that any DiY'er can follow the logic and procedures. Very informative, educational, and entertaining. Thanks Stud Pack!

Totally awesome, You guys rock! As a seasoned woodworker, I've been saying for years that one of the best ways for beginners or anyone to learn is to watch a pro. Same with painting, drywall, stonework, boatbuilding, work in the woods. There will always be a fan base for these videos. And about a thousand times better watching than most anything on tv. Thanks!

That Marquee can’t be beat! My dad was a professional painter, and he taught me early on to never use cheap paint. Even the paints he used back in the ’60s & ‘70s is not even the same paint it was back then. I always kid around that I learned how to properly use a paint brush before I could walk. Now I’m teaching my grandkids to paint. Wish my dad was still around to watch your video. I’m sure he would critique it 😄

I've been painting for years, not as a job but just in places I've lived. I really enjoy it and I'd tell you I was really good at it. Proud. But this video just goes to show how BAD of a painter I actually am. Thanks for the video!

This is one of the best how-to videos I have ever seen! After struggling with paint messes and cleanup this was a delight to watch. Both you and your son know how to present material and still make it enjoyable. Thanks so much!

Thumbs up, I’m a Painter myself can’t count how many time I’ve heard “GMs/carpenters say they hate to paint. I love it. Your brush/ cut in technique is very accurate, been using both end of the brush since I started. Just seemed to be the brush wanted to work also, finish w/ short end like you glad to see I’m not alone. 61 yrs old been painting since I was 16, and still learning = from guys like you thanks you.

love your channel, quick hint though, i painted for years and watching him work that roller on the wall and pushing down on it i just wanted to reach in and say, "hey let the paint do the work". When you are pushing on it to get it to cover then you need more paint. The roller needs to stay wet and when you find yourself pushing down redip the roller. Just gotta keep it wet... Love seeing father and son work together like this...
