Lyrics:
Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion

Tremors, reverberating
Frequency of doom
How strongly the violent thoughts of vengeance echo
Setting in motion the strings of hate.
Shudder
Shudder
Vibrate

This is the soundtrack to our hostility
To our malicious intent
To the pointless grudge forever held
The callow dream
The dismal wish to harm

Animate now
The twisted sounds of our disdain
Our rage
The notations to our contempt
To unforgiveness and loathing

A sonic declaration of spite and resentment
Its resonance grinding to dust our souls
The twine of revenge tightly strung.
Its sub harmonics, the undoing of all

So enticing
The retaliation - chords of man
The all-deafening - Oscillation of the damned

Let forth the hateful, the murderous
Let their malignant prayers resound
The reverberant, odious request
The wish of death abound

So enticing
The retaliation - chords of man
The all-deafening - Oscillation of the damned

This is the coolest shampoo commercial I’ve ever seen.

Here's the truth dudes: there really aren't any bands like them. Very good bands like Meshuggah only come up once in a blue moon, and they're good because they do their own thing, and don't really sound like anyone else. This band is very heavy and technical, but they're not obsessed with being heavy, nor too mathy, fast, or random. They just make stuff that sounds fucking cool. Incredible musicians.

I dare say Meshuggah is the greatest metal band to ever exist.

What I love about Meshuggah is that they dont simply make songs. They craft soundscapes.

That's how I like my music, when it sounds like a gigantic monster of the universe that eats black holes for breakfast.

I showed this song to my little brother and he became my grandfather

So many people don't realize that the vocals in Meshuggah are used as a rhythmic tool. Tomas even said it himself. He said that it suited their music more since they're already a rhythmic machine.

A great song to listen to while you’re eating pear slices

I've listened to 5 Meshuggah albums one day. I started to function in polyrythm...

Alot of hate down here for Jens' vocals. I absolutely love the vocals. The band is all about rhythm and atmospere, not melody. Jens' typically sings at one pitch or note and adds another layer to the poly rhythm.

Jens' stage presence blew me away too...holy fuck he's so intense.

I love how Tomas is so focused on his drum patterns but at the same time really digs what he's playing. In my opinion, if not the best drummer in the world, he definitely is among the best ones.

This really slow compared to other Meshuggah songs and i still find it one of the heaviest and most rhythmic of their songs.
It's not like a sprinting Cheetah, more like a stomping Elephant.
I love it!

I don't know why everyone seems to have a problem with the vocals, I think Jens is fucking amazing!

Meshuggah ages like Wine, they're a rare breed, surely more than mere mortals.

My favorite metal band. Nobody can copy this style; some tried, but failed.

The word "djent" doesn't even begin to describe the balls deep chomping smash that is the rhythm section of this song.

2 years ago my mom died with cancer and since then, I couldn't listen to this music because this was the song I remembered listening before she died.
But now I've made peace with myself and my grief :')
Metal will never die for me 🤘
