Metal Roofing STARTS NOW! | Cabin Build

Previously, we completed installing the windows on the second floor leaving us with only 7 out of 22 total left to install- all of which sit on the first floor. Today the metal roofing arrives posing what feels like the last major challenge in this house build. It's the end of November- we're in a race to get dried in, the livestock needs to be prepped for winter and next week brings a drop in temperature that will keep us below freezing.

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. Wow! How exciting! You two make a great team. One day when it is ALL done, you will be able to take pride in saying that you built it. Your children must be SO proud of you two and excited to move into their new bedrooms, Keep safe and warm in the process. I hope you have a long vacation after this house is completely finished.
