Will We Ever See Interstellar 2?

With the exception of his Dark Knight series, Christopher Nolan has never made any sequels or expressed interest in doing so. However, many have wondered if his 2014 sci-fi film Interstellar will get a follow-up, seeing as how movies set in space often leave a lot of questions to be answered (2001: A Space Odyssey even had a sequel, after all). Interstellar star Matthew McConaughey has said he would be up for it if the script was right, and his comments have obviously gotten some fans quite excited. Let’s take a look at whether we will ever get to see Interstellar 2.

Interstellar is the greatest movie ever made imo. I don't think they could ever top it. They'd have to start away from Earth so the emotional attachment we share wouldn't be the same.

Answer: No. Nolan doesn’t do quick cash grabs. He told the story he wanted to tell, concluded it and moved on to his other projects. I wish more directors were like that.

The first time I saw this movie was on TV one day. One of my biggest regrets in life is not seeing this movie in the theater.

I watched this movie on IMAX- My body was covered with goosebumps for at least two hours. One of the most beautiful experience of my life to be honest. Thanks Nolan and zimmers for creating such magic.

Do I want a sequel? Tough question. First part was a 10/10 for me and I enjoyed the conclusion of the story. But I would be curious to see a second part... if it ends up being terrible, there's still the first one.

No there is no need for a sequel. The movie was complete at the end. His daughter solved the equation and saved humanity.
