Apollo 11 Launch - Extended and Remastered

On this day in 1969, Apollo 11, the first mission to land men on the moon, launched. This video is an extended cut of one that I released last year, and integrates two newly found camera views. The audio is taken from a recording of a Saturn V launch, though I have not been able to identify which one specifically.

Some say the astronauts blasted off in this rocket but then went into low Earth orbit while the Moon landings and dancing about were all done on a movie set by actors in spacesuits, suspended by wires to give the effect of weightlessness. Others say the astronauts were not even on the Saturn rocket at all. I wonder where the truth lies?

The audio is taken from a couple of my old videos, which have been subject of multiple re-uploads. I edited and sound engineered this audio. The early sounds are from Apollo 11 from 2 different locations. Then I merged them with Apollo 14 and 15 before merging back to the 5 and 10 mile recordings of 11. These were originally mono recordings that I beefed up and converted to stereo. The only audio "add-on" is at the beginning, which is the thunderclap sound of the engines igniting. Hope this helps.
