Give A like for the Space Race!!
In 1969 man left Earth for the moon. I wanted to experiment and combined the intense soundtrack of Interstellar with the Apollo 11 launch to bring about the intensity and amazement of that launch, and inspire others to remember, that humanity once left its planet, we are truly limitless.
Videos are launches of Apollo 11 and Apollo 8 to the Interstellar Soundtrack by Hans Zimmer: the Mountains is the name of the song used. I felt its build up was perfect for the launch of the Saturn V, hope you guys enjoy.

This is so special. I pray that there is a mission to mars in my lifetime.

It's so weird to think how much faster technology evolves when major conflict and fear arises. Think about how much progress we made in a decade compared to how much progress we have made after the space race.

People just don't understand how insanely ICONIC this human feat was. NASA was way to ahead of it's time. Salute to Apollo 11 team and crew 🫡♥️

I’ve always loved space, I mean really, really, really love it. I’ve been to Space Camp, met a couple of Astronauts, seen multiple launches, and I plan on working in the Space Industry when im older! Not to mention, im only 13! I’ve seen this launch multiple times, but for some reason with the music I started to panic and cry a little. Not a feared way, just being overwhelmed by incredible emotions. I love space and what we as humans are able to accomplish. I’ve never felt that feeling of emotions, it’s just a panic attack of happiness, knowing that you’re just an atom compared to a Rocket. We are so small yet able to accomplish great things. We haven’t explored a fraction of our universe but what we have discovered, is beyond what any man could of imagined. Panic attacks of emotions are now my favorite thing.

Edit: I have rewatched it 4 more times, it happened again every time.

It baffles me how people say we never went to the moon when this footage clearly proves otherwise. Great job on the video, music fit magnificently.

I was not alive during that time but I wish I was. The whole world stopped to watch that day and celebrated. We transcended national boundaries and differences of race and sex and became One. We need this kind of effort again.

I am old enough to remember this. I was glued to the TV back when this launch happened. Back then we didn't know if it would work or not so the primary emotion was foreboding. We all were holding our breath; I think I started to breathe again when the second stage clearly ignited and was burning successfully.

Today we know that Apollo 11 worked splendidly so the primary emotion of watching this was, for me, the beauty of people working together to make this happen. And to show this launch set so beautifully to the music of "Interstellar" literally brought tears of joy to my eyes . . .

. . . until the God-damned, freaking advertisement bashed my emotions to bits in the last 12 seconds of this video. 🥵 You ought to be ashamed of yourself !! 😡

Hearing the actual engines would have been thrilling. At Kennedy Space Center you get to experience these mighty engines while waiting to visit the actually Apollo Control Center….as I did

I hope within my lifetime man sets foot on Mars, and so the Apollo mantle is passed on and a new generation of discovery is started.

The 7 people who disliked are jealous that they didn't make this video first.
