Our Hydroponic Bell Peppers Start to Finish

We grew Bell Peppers on the side of our house in a small hydroponic system just to see if it would work. This was a fun project for our family and while we did get peppers, we learned a lot and plan to do it again!

I just read an old book on hydroponics. It used a gravity fed method of watering. No pumps needed back in the old days. 2 buckets needed... one above system for watering and bucket to catch the soloution. When the solution has slowly gone through... the " drainage" is once again is added to the bucket up top to water plants again. Check daily. .

You may want to add liquid seaweed to your nutrient blend to provide trace minerals.
