HARD PRUNING OUR GREENHOUSE BELL PEPPERS (3 branch system)

Well, some of you will probably think this is a crazy way to prune our peppers! This is how we have pruned our peppers for many seasons with great success and fantastic production. (3 branch system)
You will see that the plants look a little pathetic after the pruning, but the next day they were looking happy as can be! I will do an update video or photo post to show you what they now look like, just a day later.
When we first started pruning like this, it was heartbreaking to cut those extra branches off, but it was so worth it!
This Greenhouse variety of Bell Peppers are called RIAZOR RED BELL PEPPER from PARAMOUNT SEEDS (out of Florida)
I also want to apologize again for the sound in one clip, as Jess didn't realize she was covering the mic. It was too late to redo by then. so turn up your volume if you can't hear it.
Have a great day everyone, and I'll post a picture or short update vid to show the difference tomorrow!
ENJOY!

Awesome video thank you thank you thank you. I had this video going as I pruned my three pepper plant that were taking over a corner in my greenhouse. Love all your video's and the info you have shared over the passed couple. Since I starting watching I can not list all the info you gave that helped me to be a better gardener and not give up on so many plants. Cheers 🌱🍅♥️

No trumpet 🎺 playing for Hayley lol 😂 that’s one less bumble bee now though. Love the demo on the peppers my first time I’ve ever got any on my plants no where near the size of yours but later this afternoon I’m going down my allotment and sorting out mine as well. So that’s two things I’ve done off watching your channel stringing the toms up and now the peppers cheers 🍻

Peppers are like tomato's they like the same things, I kept the both Naked almost! i strip a lot of leave off, to grow more and bigger fruit, and it give the plant more air flow and sun light! Plus easier to spot insect as well ! I got this ideal from a Locust attack few yrs back. The plants was strip down 2 weeks later OMG THE GROWTH, there was more and bigger fruit on the plants as well. I been doing this every since the attack> But i don't strip them down as bad as they did! pepper starts fruit on the double leaves, LEAVE THEM! take off the single leaves NOW Tomato's Let them get up to about 4' Then take taking off the growth 3' from the tops, Use the big sucker to clone more tomato's! As the leaves get bigger, trim off the tips of the leave about 2" from the end of the leaf. i grow fruit! Not leaves!>> This give the pepper and tomato's more air flow, sun light to the roots, and easier to spot insects
