- What are they celebrating?
- Their planet completed a full circle around their star.
- Told ya, they don't look intelligent enough.

He's a real genius to me because he can always explain in a simple way what most of us can not imagine.

Nice and humble of Tyson to acknowledge Hawking on that scale and regard.

"Why dont aliens show themselves?"
Well, did you present yourself to the anthill in your backyard?

If aliens saw YouTube comments, they would either leave us alone or vaporize us

„Like little Timmy here.“ It‘s funny stuff like that not only keeps you from forgetting what you just learned but even tell (teach) to others because it’s funny. NDT is a great teacher.

I never looked at it in that way. Stacking boxes to reach bananas; that brilliant.

Some people find him annoying sometimes because they feel he gaslight a topic but for me, I admire Neil Tyson, what he says, he says with logic and enthusiasm. Would love to meet him someday. What a man🫡

Humans : Feed bananas to Chimpanzees to do a task.
Aliens: Feed a technology to humans to do a task.
😂😂😂😂

I think our ability to communicate our thoughts so specifically through definitions involving speech and how far we have come with that information and what we can do with it is what makes us smart

He isn’t laughing.

Everyone else is.

This is a highly relevant topic in posthumanism. We could theoretically, in the far future, genetically engineer human beings that are far ahead in intelligence, and also, integrate them with computers to generate hybrid minds. Once a posthuman race is established, uncomfortable questions will come up about the point of humanity and the human condition, as we will be deemed obsolete, as the last remnants from the genetic stone age of intelligent life.
