This one will always be my favorite. I consider the SCI0-1 period to be the absolute golden age of Sierra, it was right at the peak when they were getting really successful but were still small enough to retain their kooky charm.

By far, my favourite game not only in Space Quest, but in all of Sierra. What this game lacks in story, in makes up in everything else, such as the colourful and beautiful locations in Gar'Bage Freighter, Phleebhut, Ortega and Pestulon for example. These are some of the most beautifully drawn places in any video game, and that's understating it! I also liked the whole atmosphere, as you had no idea what to actually do half of the game, but yet it felt like the easiest of the series..., it's just such an amazing game!

Wow this game won a gold award! Well deserved if I do say so.
Again didn't grow up with this series but I've always had such a great time replaying SQ3, I mostly listen to the insanely good af soundtrack which as someone who got into this series in 2013... this soundtrack still holds up damn well. I even have it on my music playlist and I even rate it high amongst super metroid, dragon quest 8, Dead rising 2 and sonic n knux 3 which are some of my favourite gaming soundtracks of all time and all of these soundtracks never get old for me.

I'm still waiting for these legendary guys to release their new game. I'd buy it two times if it came to the Switch and PC.

Brilliant. One point. 1:28 it looks like they forgot to draw the left-side (from our perspective) of Roger; his arm seems cut off, just a lump of pink with no dark outline or anything (as opposed to the right side).

I'm late to the party but I'm really enjoying watching through this video series. SQIV was my first entry in the series so I missed these older titles.

Loved this game. I had a "copy" of it on floppies, but my dad had the computer. I wouldn't let this deter me. I'd go to the local walmart and play the game on their demo computers and beat it over the course of a 30-45 minute span before going back home. Those machines didn't have the MT32 I was used to hearing but the game was still a blast to play anyway.

The "mailbox" wasn't a mailbox, it was a vending machine. Case OU812 Plaintiff: Gippazoid Novelty Company Charge: Vending Machine Fraud. How Roger used that order form to get a whistle out of a vending machine without paying for it, who knows?

I actually had a lot of fun with Astrochicken. I at one point even found a reproduction of just that part of the game.

Yes, I know the game sucked. That was the point. But sometimes you gotta enjoy your lame fun.

omg such evidence. It's Space Quest number 3, there are 3 seats in the Mallard, and if you reverse the 3rd digit of the game's release year from 1989 you get 1998 which is when Half-Life first released. Half-Life 3 confirmed.
