It's frustrating that most people don't want to talk about these things, the deeper philosophical questions, existence and meaning. These videos are great really. Gives some sort of explanation to life and how we feel.

Stoicism makes me want to run away from my current life, and live a simple life just vibing. Everyone around me is so serious and depressing

I've thought this since I was 10 years old, since as soon as I started to think about why we were in school from 9:00am until 4:00pm EVERY DAY when it would only take maybe 5 weeks to learn all the info you need for the end of year exams. And when my parents told me that the bank owns your home until you pay it off. And that when you leave school in most jobs you are not entitled to more than 2 months of holidays a year. So you go to work every day and only get the time your employer chooses to give you off. You don't get to decide. How can people think they're free?? They're delusional but I'm the crazy one for thinking it.

This channel is so interesting.
It's like the most deep and thought provoking channel on the internet.

We waste most of our time arguing about trivial things like being a liberal or conservative but not wondering why?

Most people say they can't wait till the weekends but living your life just in the weekends is basically wasting you life.
Do what you want to do now.
Don't waste another second of your life thinking if you should or could do it now.

Do what you want to do in life now you don't know if today could be the last day you wake up to see.

"Wasted time or well spent time is all the same when viewed at a sufficient distance outside of it."
A pretty contradicting perspective that I agree with.

The point of life is to fill it with stuff. Fill it with experiences, knowledge, goals, and accomplishments. Do one thing you enjoy every single day, and you will begin to feel that life is full and long, and when you reach the end of life, you will look back o it and smile.

Tomorrow is just today, repeated over and over again. A "dejà vu". So start living your tomorrows now, or never live at all.

What you started saying at 8:08 is so profound I had to watch that part twice. I’m saving this video... it somehow makes me feel less anxious about my procrastination but also more driven to work on it. Thank you thank you.

Discovered this channel today and I'm so glad I did. I love these conversations. It truly is intellectually stimulating to read posts where individuals are elaborating upon these philosophical ideas. Quite frequently I find myself becoming frustrated with so many people. It seems we live in a world filled with humans who care more about what Kylie Jenner is doing rather than what they are doing with their own life. I feel alone at times because it is difficult to find others who enjoy having these types of conversations. I think I found my people on youtube.

Get to know your inner self through accumulating wisdom, talk to people, find inner stillness through meditation or other practices and suddenly, everything in the outside world will fall into place without you forcing it. Everything will happen with the ease of being in the flow. Time will become irrelevant, because you truely start to life. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL! Get up and fulfill your true potential, it is possible guys. It takes a lot of dedication and effort, but it will be worth it. Don´t expect anything, the future is uncertain. The one and only thing, that is important, is the now! FOKUS ON THE NOW! Believe in yourself, accept other peoples opinions, but don´t let them dictate your life, everything you need to know lies inside of you. I LOVE ALL OF YOU! Learn to loose yourself to be able to become one with everything. From there on, life will become the most enjoyful and the most easy thing there has ever been. IT IS THERE MY FRIENDS!

Since I started my journey into stoicism I really don't want to impress anyone anymore It fascinates me how everyone has accepted the same cycle of work entertainment sleep eat repeat and really don't have any desire for deeper understanding to life. There's so much in the life to learn than to really living a life full of illusion.

Just have in mind that Seneca thought and said this two thousand years ago, imagine what he would have to say if he lived nowadays in our overconsumption society with social networks and all that bullshit

The best times to live for me is back in the carefree days of a teenager spending the summer months with friends and family, swimming in the pool by day and playing nintendo by night. Occasional bike rides at night as well. Warm weather, warm (bbq) food, warm friends, warm memories. I felt like one of the lucky ones back then.
