MY FIRST FLIGHT OFF A CLIFF AT THIS VERY SPECIAL PLACE AT THE MOUTH OF THE KLAMATH RIVER. AMAZING TO SEE THE SEA LIONS AT THE OPENING OF MOUTH AND TO SEE THE HUGE SAND BAR BLOCKING SALMON FROM SWIMING UPSTREAM TO SPAWN AND DIE WHERE THEY WERE HATCHED. AMAZING ANIMALS

I loved it in Klamath. I went there last year (In April) when I was traveling around in my RV. Great video! Thanks for sharing Jill! 💖 RED

I lived and grew up in Requa CA. Our house on the bluffs looked at Squaw Rock. The Gussin's, Pat & Elsie, that owned the Requa Inn were good family friends. My brother and I used to play on the sandbar. The natives would eel fish there at night too. Back then the sandbar would only block at very low tides, and used to have lots of driftwood on it. The Larsons had Jet Boat trips up the river during the summers. I really miss that place, so beautiful...have a painting of Squaw Rock on my wall, done by a native that was a family friend. All yrs ago. At times when salmon were running, you could almost walk across the river on boats. Thanks for this vid. 😘
