Want a bit of magic to try? Put a rebar (iron) stake next to a tomato plant or any plant you might want to stake. Tie the plant to the stake, not too tight, with old nylon stockings, knee highs or panty hose.

EVERYTIME the wind blows, static electricity is formed by the nylon/iron combination and it sends free fertilizer, in the form of nitrogen, into the soil.

Watch the plant go crazy growing. My Dad told me of this, I did it with 2 rows of tomatoes in my little home garden. It became like an arbor with giant tomato plants growing insanely. Yes, it made lots and lots of tomatoes too!
