Another excellent case study, thanks Jacob. Can you do one that shows how higher withdrawal % can be ok early in retirement if you have stable income or windfalls coming later - eg retire at 60, but very high SS coming at 70 so front-load withdrawals for those 10 years. Or retire at 60 and downsize at 65 adding say 50% to the investable assets so front-load withdrawals for those 5 years. I think many people are getting familiar with go go, slow go, no go phases of spending but maybe not the other factors like above. Thanks.

Thanks for showing more about the settings in this software. Would love to see even more case studies like this where you go into tuning the options and seeing how it affects the results. Very helpful!

Another great video. Wondering why not start with tax deferred account first instead of taxable one so less conversion is needed as well as lower RMD? Keeping taxable account would help with SRR, maybe?

Love the illustrations! Isn’t the $120k savings enabling the Roth conversions? Without, there are no lower brackets to fill up? Already having paid tax on money creates flexibility to adjust future taxes.

At what age do these Roth conversions break even?
How much would you Roth convert if you assume he lives to 80? or 85?
Could you show an estate plan that transfers most of these funds to his children?
IF you have Bonds, the place to keep them is an IRA as that avoids the large RMD problem.
