Prehistoric wolf: Maybe I will get some food at that campfire. What's the worst that could happen?

Sometimes I record my cats because I spend many days away from them, so I can remember the good times through the videos and cheer myself up. I don't think recording animals is a bad thing, the wrong thing is to waste the whole time you spend with them trying to take a selfie.

Nothing wrong with people wanting to take pictures with their pets. I just don't like the ones where the owners "train" their pets by abusing them to behave a certain way for likes and followers. I've seen dogs getting smacked to learn to walk vertically. Zoos and tourist attractions are similar too where they force animals to entertain humans for profit. So sick.

If they don't abuse the animals I don't mind the pet stuff on the Internet :)

I think you should’ve talked about actual problems with animals on social media, like people shoving bunnies in eggs, keeping pets in tight enclosure, or painting the nails of your lizard that clearly doesn’t want them painted.

I dont think Simone Giertz fits in this category. But I am glad she is still bulding funny stuff. Hope she is fine

Simone Giertz (dog photo booth clip) has a youtube channel where she works on a wide range of projects from complex engineering solutions to weird art. I think she's one of the few people you've showcased who has a genuinely impressive skillset and work ethic, and definitely deserves the money she makes on the internet

This video made me realize Joey has the personality of a cat and should do more videos of voicing over for cats.

tbh there are people who adore their pets and take pictures for memories but these days many people use animals for likes as if they were props so I understand what you meant by the video and also how it was taken badly by many people (some of these clips were friendly wholesome ones lol)

I hate most social media pet videos because the owners will make the animals do things or will put them in certain situations solely for a video. It gets even worse, people will put animals into dangerous situations just so they can make a video of them “rescuing” those animals.

I don't think taking a picture with your pets is narcissistic.. Some people like to share they loves for animals.. Nothing wrong with that

Simone Giertz should not be lumped with the rest of those folks.

She's wonderful human.

Otherwise, quality as always.

You always complain that these people have no talent or skills, but Simone Giertz isn't like that. She literally converted a tesla model 3 into a pickup truck.

I don't think it'd particularly fair to make fun of Simone Giertz, considering the whole point of her channel is making stupid inventions. On. Purpose. You think she was serious with the Truckla, or the robot that punches babies in the face too?

Ok I get that the ppl taking selfie’s in the middle of the street was bad but... this is just people taking picture with their pets😐 it’s not that deep

Am I the only one noticing that this dude seems to be more grumpy towards social media lately? Im all for calling out narcissism and stupidity...but like what's so bad about taking a pic with your pet? It's a memory. Obviously bugging them while they are angry is no good, but people love their animals. Just cause they put some mundane clip with their animal doesn't mean they're narcissists. :/

I saw a video of a dog being "trained" to walk on 2 legs for entertainment. It was horrific and abusive and I know that's the extreme version of this but omg it has stayed with me ever since..

Joey if you feel like this now, imagine how jaded & disillusioned you're going to feel when you hit your 50s. I know, god I know!

Ordinarily I love your observations but this time Joey, you are off. Nothing wrong with taking pictures with your pets. One of the guys and his cat that you featured have a long painful backstory. The kitten was mistreated, malnourished, dirty, infected and dying, when they found each other. The vets didn't think he would make it. He beat the odds and love and 24hrs care had a little something to do with his recovery. So go easy on the animal lovers.

Pretending to attend a protest or borrowing some guys drill to pretend you’re helping fix the community just to take pictures to make people think you stand for something when you don’t is narcissistic and is fair game to take the piss out of... but come on, taking a picture with your dog? This is a stretch
