Hi - I live in southwest Florida where Hurricane Ian decided to land. I am fortunately just east of the area that got demolished but we were still our of power for 5 days. I had been preparing for such an event for a while and found your channel after searching for dehydrated meals and have spent the last couple months actively dehydrating everything in sight (almost :)). Your channel is the gold star for dehydrating! There is such a vast inventory of subjects plus your focus on safety is very reassuring. I went into the storm feeling pretty good about our supply of food and we did eat well considering. So, thank you! If I had to choose, I would probably go for the 10 tray because I’m currently using an older model 5 tray Excalibur and I find it too limiting. Thanks again for all of the effort you put into your channel, it has been very helpful to me.

Another Great video; I am an Expat living in Italy, and after watching your videos, I purchased the 6-Tray for myself. It arrives today. I previously had a cheap round dehydrator (plastic), and the shelves have just crumbled on me, haha, So I decided I have been using it enough to make it worthwhile to upgrade. I love my "small" Cosori, bought it a few years ago, but I have had the thought of buying a bigger dehydrator or a second one since my friends/family all have me doing the deydrating part of our shared gardening project..so knowing the company I like makes a bigger one is nice. I like the silicone sheets from amazon, but boy oh boy what a pain to wash and dry, I hang them up like laundry on a small clothesline 😉

Maybe the smaller one, one day. My family thinks I am living in fear. I am just being prepared for whatever comes. I have lost everything in a flood and again in a fire, with no insurance. I'm living the Netherlands, like watching YouTube and there your channel about dehydrating pops in my life Darcy. Dehydrating! it starts smal, feels so good watch your kids take the first taste dishes from veggies they don't like to eat 😋 they do now haha. This week my lovely daughter left me a surprise 🍎 appel appel appel, 😅 love it! The veggies and patato waiting 😱 Mabey and i say just mabey I'm now a addict to dehydrateng food.
I love love the 6 tray Cosori because the size 🤔 love the food in stores whit veggies 50% in the store so i do my part fore people in need. Hope everyone sharing.

On the new 10 tray, have you tried it to make any type of meat jerky yet?

I was looking at the Excalibur or comparing and watching you video from last year

Now looking at the higher capacity or 10 tray cosori option 🙂

Thoughts?

Especially if one's focus is for 95% usage for meat jerky ..beef, bacon and wild game
