Who do you think the GOAT is? Jordan, Lebron, or someone else?

Scouting report on LBJ: make him go left. Send him to free throw line. Give him midrange jumpers.
Scouting report on MJ: don’t piss him off

You know you’re the GOAT when the opposing team’s strategy is to “not piss Jordan off”

Lebron : I have the most points in Game Seven in Finals history.

Jordan : What's a game 7?

LOL

Let's also consider that Jordan was allowed 2 steps after picking up his dribble, and Lebron gets 4...

I just found this vid. The way that you broke this down is great. You explained complex analytics in a way that a 5 year old could understand, your arguments were rock solid and most importantly, you were fair.

"So what's the greater achievement: beating the juggernaut--or being the juggernaut?"
Damn, this question is just so good.

It was an honour to be able to watch MJ all those years ago. No doubt the GOAT. The best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be.

MJ for 3 reasons

1. Killer instinct and highly competitive
2. Tough and unshakeable
3. Small feet for quickness at 6'6 and hands of a 7'8 center. Jordan could do things with those big hands players of a similar size like Kobe and LBJ could never do.

MJ was a once in a 100 year athlete just like Wilt was for his position.

Do Americans know that MJ is more popular than the basketball game itself. I'm from india and basketball is non existing here but Everyone remembers MJ as one of the greatest athletes of all time and THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME.

You missed a key category: the “Space Jam” category. Jordan gets the check mark again.

This is one of the most comprehensive videos I've ever seen on the Goat debate. I think one thing we can add to the eye test element is also how, just like at the end of the video, you see some of MJs circus shots, the outrageousness, the sheer poetry and elegance with which he plays. He's an artist and a killer rolled into one. Lebron's highlights are impressive too but they just don't have that wow factor that takes your breath away no matter how many times you watch it.

As for the longevity factor, it should be more about peak. Whose peak was higher.. Jordan accomplished more in a shorter period. If longevity is about who sustained his peak, then Lebron by right should have 10 championships. The fact he lasted at a high level longer than Jordan but probably only scratched the surface of MJs peak... That simply means MJ's peak was brighter higher stronger. That alone tells u something.

There is just no comparison. But here in this day and age people want their new basketball God and the most convenient guy and the guy who's always selling himself with his army of Nick Wrights and Shannon Sharpes... is that guy. And if you don't think Bron's the Goat, if you think he's number 2 behind MJ, wch is still high compliment but to his legions of rabid fans is unacceptable, then you're a hater. 💁🏻‍♂️

I have had the privilege of seeing both players entire careers, Lebron’s to this point, and while I think they both are great... Jordan is literally the best player I’ve ever seen to this day...

This guy retired almost 20 years ago and keep his life private, doesn't engage personally on social media and until now we are still talking about him. Thats Greatness right there. And his shoes sold more than the current players combined.

It's hard for the younger people to grasp Michael Jordan's greatness. Jordan was Jordan ALL THE TIME. You can't possibly realize that without having witnessed it at the time. Also, people always show the same highligts of him but he was relentless. Always a joy to watch. Always on top of his game. If it wasn't for those last two years in Washington nearing 40 we would never have seen him decline.

MJ playing all 82 games 9 times in his career is the most underrated aspect of his Goat resume. Lebron one time.
