this doesn't work. i tried every single step and it sill says "No Capture Device Found" even in my settings it says "Driver is Unavailable" even with all the cords plugged in correctly and with my console on. what's the deal with this?

When you uninstall the capture card from your computer, try it with keep settings, if that doesnt work, uninstall capture and delete your settings, then re download capture card..hope that helps :)

Hi question why it tells me no signal after a some time when im playing all i see is a black screen but i can hear the gameplay please help. I have to unplug and plug it back in to see the gameolay again is like el gato go to rest or not getting signal at that point idk

I use elgato hd60s+ for my canon camera as web camera. I got randomly freezes gameplay and camera. Say something overload or the 7 red lights at elgato hdcp . How can i fix it?

I'm searching for a solution for a similar problem. I have used the elgato hd60s for a few years on a nintendo switch and ps5 without problems.
But for some reason, today it decided to torment me...
Basically when I plug in my ps5, the game capture software detects the elgato but doesnt show video and not even the audio, considering also that the output cable goes to my monitor and that too shows a black screen. BUT, the monitor is receiving the sigal from the hdmi, but it just shows black.
If I plug in the ps5 directly to the monitor, it appears on the screen, but with the elgato it's doesn't.
HDCP was always off, I tried to restart my pc, re-installing the drivers and softwares with updated versions, but nothing works. Any help pls?

EDIT: I also have a camlink 4k and that works! But unfortunately it only inputs to the pc and doesnt output to the monitor...
EDIT2: it's a really strange situation, my elgato acts like it has HDCP always turned on, because if I use a hdmi splitter between the ps5 and the elgato, the video shows up on my monitor. I have this hdmi splitter to capture video of my old ps3 since it has HDCP and there is no way to disable it, so I don't really know why this happens

Hi I have just bought the elgato HD 60 S+ . I have it from my PS5 to pc. It picks up the elgato in the elgato software but when I open OBS Streamlabs there is an option for the elgato but there is nothing on the screen in OBS can you help .

Hey bro ... i have the cam link app for the camlink device installed ... do i have to erase that too ? I tryed your method and i didnt work... i dont know what to do it may be the camlink...the camlink is the only device that appears on the software

Hey I'm having trouble with something in my Elgato. It is recording some of my gameplay but after a while it just repeats the last second of the clip even though in the Elgato preview thing its working. When I export it the Part where it repeats goes on for the rest of the recording even though the audio is still fine. What should I do?

Hello,

I bought an HD60S, and then connected it to my Windows 8.1 pro PC.

I then followed the tutorial and downloaded the version 3.70.51.3051 from the site and followed the tutorial.

On my PC, the HD60S remained in the other peripherals section although it is also in the audio, video, games controller section.

I don't know how to make it work under Windows 8.1 because even with older software, I can get the elgato in the audio, video, games controller section, but I still have the HD60S on other devices.

Hi mate I can’t seem to get the Elagto to follow your steps. I have just recently got a new computer and it seemed to work on my old pc. Now I have upgraded to a new pc I can’t seem to get that to come up. I run my PlayStation and it works fine but can seem to get the capture device found for me to be able to get it up on the pc
