Civics Education in America

Today it is more important than ever to ensure Americans have the knowledge and skills to participate in civic life. Informed and active citizens make for a stronger country, a stronger economy, and a stronger workforce. This is essential for our continued prosperity.

Civics is very different in each country. It can be about the design of the democratic state and its history, like in this case but it may as well be about cleaning up your neighborhood, doing voluntary work, knowing how to speak confidently without being rude, or being able to understand various religious viewpoints.
